Dr. Shieh and his team understand that it’s not always easy to visit our office for an in-person consultation especially for out-of-town patients. That’s why we offer our patients two virtual consultation options. Many of our domestic and international patients have taken advantage of this service.
 
Virtual consultation is time saving whether you are out of state (Pennsylvania) or out of the country. For your convenience, we use the most familiar and popular internet communication applications when doing a virtual consultation. Your smile transformation and facial esthetic virtual consultation can be conducted via:

FaceTime (iPhone or iPad users)
 
Getting Started with Your Virtual Consultation
 
The first step is to make your $100 virtual consultation fee payment  and once we've received your virtual consultation payment, we will email you our New Patient Registration form link to complete. Once you've completed your new patient registration, then one of our team members will reach out to you within 24 hours to schedule your virtual consultation.  Your virtual meeting with Dr. Shieh can range from  30 - 45 minutes to discuss your goals and concerns. 
 
All medical information and pictures that you provide are treated with respect and confidentiality. Everyone on our team undergoes periodic training so that we understand and are compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). This includes all related government rules and regulations, especially those regarding the “Privacy Rules.”
 
Your virtual consultation should not be taken as your final and accurate treatment plan proposal as your oral conditions may have changed when we finally meet you in person.
 
IMPORTANT: Your virtual consultation will/can not substitute in place your actual in-person consultation should you decided to choose Dr. Shieh as your provider.  When you decide to choose Dr. Shieh as your provider, an additional in-person $200 comprehensive consultation and exam will be required prior to your final treatment plan proposal. You must schedule and complete your virtual consultation within 30 days. After 30 days, you will forfeit $100 paid. The $100 virtual consultation fee is also non-refundable once the virtual consultation is scheduled and can not be used to credit towards the total cost of your treatment proposal. Should you change your mind after virutal consultation payment BUT PRIOR TO SCHEUDLING your virtural consultation, a refund of $50 can be requested.
