Andy Shieh, D.M.D.
Smile Designer/Owner Dentist

Dr. Shieh earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 2006. Although all aspects of dentistry intrigued Dr. Shieh, his main passion has always gravitated towards cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. Through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) accreditation process, Dr. Shieh has refined his artistic vision with today's latest aesthetic dentistry guidelines and standards.
To further hone his craft and technique in smile makeovers with dental veneers, Dr. Shieh learned from the best through the Aesthetic Advantage courses at The Rosenthal Institute in New York City and Digital Smile Design (DSD) residency with the innovative Dr. Christian Coachman. Dr. Shieh's amazing smile transformation results have earned him consistent 5-star online reviews from his patients. Dr. Shieh has been honored as one of the top cosmetic dentists in Pittsburgh by his peers since 2012, and much of his work has been featured by multiple dental organizations' media.

To further understand the importance of facial aesthetics in relations to a smile, Dr. Shieh joined American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) in 2017 to extensively train with live patients in their hands-on courses and also integrates Digital Smile Design (DSD) facial analysis to all of his smile makeovers.

Dr. Shieh enjoys giving back to his city and community through multiple charitable organizations. One in particular that he is very proud to be a part of is the annual Mission of Mercy Pittsburgh (MOMPGH) where he helped to contribute free dentistry all weekend to those cannot afford dentistry.

Dr. Shieh is also a participating dentist in the Give Back A Smile (GBAS) movement of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation (AACDCF) to assist in rebuilding the smiles and lives of adults who’ve suffered dental injuries from domestic and sexual violence.
When he is not enhancing patient's smile or face, he enjoys spending his free time with his family (his wife Rachel, their son Braxton, and Aspen, his German shepherd dog). Dr. Shieh also enjoys traveling, online shopping, browse social media, drive his cars, attend Pittsburgh Penguins playoff games, stream shows/movies, and supporting his University of Minnesota Golden Gophers Football.
